Community-Based Programs

Jesus’ Disciples Family Church (JDFC) is a community-serving nonprofit organization founded in September 2009. JDFC operates charitable, educational, and humanitarian programs that address practical needs in local and international communities. While faith-rooted, JDFC’s services are open to the general public and are not conditioned on religious belief, attendance, or participation. All programs are administered under a comprehensive nondiscrimination policy.

JDFC’s mission is to strengthen individuals, families, and communities by providing access to education, youth development, emergency assistance, and humanitarian relief.

Summer Education & Enrichment Program

JDFC provides a free, week-long summer education and enrichment program for children ages 0–12. The program includes arts and crafts, music, dance, structured group learning activities, and free daily meals. Participation is open to all families in the community,
 
 
 
 
 
Youth & Young Adult Development

JDFC operates a biweekly outreach program serving youth and young adults ages 13–29. The program focuses on leadership development, life-skills training, mentorship, creative activities, and positive community engagement. Participants receive free meals and may participate in field trips, outings, and leadership-building activities. No religious participation is required for eligibility.

 

Benevolence & Emergency Assistance

Through its benevolence program, JDFC provides direct emergency assistance to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, medical emergencies, or life-threatening crises. Services include short-term financial aid and meal outreach to individuals experiencing homelessness in Midland and Parkland, Washington.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
International Humanitarian Programs

JDFC also provides humanitarian aid and community development support internationally, with a primary focus on underserved communities in Asia.

  • Disaster Relief: Since 2009, JDFC has provided emergency food, supplies, and financial assistance to communities in the Philippines affected by typhoons, flooding, and other natural disasters.
  • Community Infrastructure: JDFC has supported the development and construction of community centers in Baguio City, Batac (Ilocos Norte), Calasiao (Pangasinan), and underserved communities in Hong Kong. These facilities are used for education support, community gatherings, and emergency shelter.
  • Medical Assistance: JDFC provides medical assistance grants to individuals in the Philippines who lack access to critical healthcare. Assistance is awarded based on documented need and verified local referrals.
All international activities are humanitarian in nature and does not require religious participation or instruction.
